AFT-LAB Capsule Filler

The AFT-LAB capsule filler was designed to meet the needs of research and development facilities. This fully automatic laboratory capsule-filling machine gives you the flexibility to experiment with various combinations of dosage forms and also ensures that the resultant formulations can easily be scaled up to the production line. A tablet-filling attachment can also be fitted to the machine for multiple dosage combinations such as powder + tablet + pellet.

The AF Series of capsule fillers is unique in its ability to process any four sizes of the capsules in a single format. It facilitates easy and simple changeover and enables the scaling up of the development process without any modification in formulation.

• Capsules made on the AFT-LAB capsule filler can be scaled up to production quantities on other ACG capsule fillers while maintaining slug properties such as fill weight, hardness, dissolution and stability.
• The AFT-LAB capsule filler can be equipped with a pellet, liquid and tablet filling attachment to allow a variety of combination capsules to be produced for experiments with delivery systems.
• To suit laboratory conditions, the AFT-LAB capsule filler is able to operate with a small quantity of powder and can be set to produce 100 capsules or less for trials.
• The AFT-LAB capsule filler can be scaled up to deliver output of up to 25,000 capsules per hour to allow for scale up of capsules. With the right attachment the same machine can also be used for pellet, liquid and tablet filling.
